Becoming involved with Forest Watch Australia?

If you live and work in one of Australia's capital cities, you are in high-risk zone for entry of exotic forest pests.

Exotic tree pests commonly enter Australia as hitchikers on containers, cargo and people entering from overseas. As such trees in urban centres around major ports, airports or tourist attractions are the first to show symptoms and signs of being affected by these invaders.

Forest Watch Australia is always looking to partner with Local Councils, arborists, Botanic Gardens, naturalist groups, community groups and anyone interested in the health of their local trees.

Participate in a local workshop, undertake some online training or help out in one of our regular tree health surveys.
